It really is Summer's Last Hurrah for me! I am away on my girls annual get away. There is 10 of us that are either college friends or the wives. We have been doing this for the last 25 years! Love my girlfriends!
Serendipity has given the DT an added challenge. We were to use a personal photo for inspiration and tell you about it. I used some hydrangeas from my yard for a wedding last spring. I love all the wonderful colors they display throughout their blooming cycle. There is a variety called Antique Purple and Antique Green which are two of my favorites.
I thought the antique colors looked more like fall. I colored the Hydrangea with Copics and used a little Wink Of Stella on the blossoms. The centers have been dotted with White Pearl-Viva Pearl Pen. I fussy cut the flower and leaf and popped them up for added dimension. The brad was rubbed with platinum Viva Gold. I trimmed off the bottom curve of the Hello die to fit the card.
Here are the Copics I used.
Thanks for looking!
Hope that you will join us by adding your creation to the SSCB!
