IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE!


You're An Animal!
Yeah, October is here and hopefully some fall weather will be here soon too!
Welcome to the Impression Obsession Challenge, You're An Animal! Play along creating with IO stamps/dies. Design can use any type of animal. It's easy to play along and there is an IO $25 gift Certificate up for grabs!

 The Cat bookmarks are in disguise for the Halloween card!


The cascading card base was made with double-sided paper. The card will fold flat and fit into an A2 size envelope, without the tree! It's decorated with IO die cuts and Rainbow tape.

There are 3 different bookmarks, a bear, dog and cat.
Today my card is featuring the cat. 
They are adorable all decked out in their costumes. The disguises are created using the Retro Masculine Die Set, a witches hat from the Boo die and hand cut clothes.

Fall is coming soon I hope! That means getting together for the holidays and pumpkin pie time! I'm sharing with you today an easy Thanksgiving Invitation.
The Patchwork Turkey is great for making multiples. He is fun to mix different pattern papers for die cutting. I used 5 different papers for him. I now have 5 different turkey combinations! 
 I love the mixing of the fonts that Dina Kowal did on the You're invited stamp. What a great stamp to have in your stash...perfect for all occasions! 
The embossed BG adds an extra touch of fall to the invitation.

The Halloween Web Die is fantastic. It's a great die cut used simply by itself or...fun as the BG to a shaker. Red jewels adorn the backs of the black spider sequins. With a flick of the wrist...these spiders jump around inside the shaker!

After die cutting the Halloween Web, it left this wonderful negative design in the paper. Never letting anything go to waste...I embossed it. There is Gunmetal Mirircard paper behind the die cut that gives it a neat effect. The New Eat Drink Pumpkin was die cut a few times and is popped up onto the front. A few wiggly eyeballs added makes this card complete!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE

CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

Die cuts make for an easy and quick card, especially if making several.
I started by stamping Merry Christmas in IO's Chocolate ink onto Curious Cryogen. Once the ink was dry I used the Bead Adapt-a-Background die but, instead of cutting I embossed!
Gold mirror paper was used for the deer die cut. While this paper is beautiful in person, it's hard to photograph! I have dressed him up with some Holly and Berry Branches.

CHILL OUT!

Ready for a new IO Challenge?

Keeping warm while chilling out with IO!
Theses adorable Mittens were made using the Mitten die. To get the reverse image I used the backside of the die cut! The cut outs were inlaid with different colors of HW Bazzill paper. Silk ribbon was woven through the die cut band at the top and trimmed with some fluffy pom-pons!
Let It Snow was stamped first and then embossed with the snow embossing folder.
