This little darling is from Lindsay Ostrom. HEATHER my FEATHER has been colored with Copics. Her hair buns and feather were stamped again and fussy cut. To give added dimension, I used a silicone gel on them.
I love that her sign has been left blank so you can fill in with any message! Here I have used HUGS & KISSES  from the MORE BASIC GREETINGS Set. This set has been a favorite of mine for everyday sayings.

For the inside of the card I have used LIKE CRAZY
All of these stamps are perfect for creating a card for a special friend in addition to a Valentine!

Thanks for looking and see you back tomorrow!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION LAST MINUTE!

The holidays are here, do you ever find yourself scrambling for a gift?
December's last challenge is to use Impression Obsession stamps and design a gift. Play along for a chance to win a $25 IO Gift Certificate. New to our challenges, welcome! You can find all the details on the IO Blog.

The Impression Obsession DT has some exciting news! We are welcoming not one but two very talented designers to the team! Hello and welcome to Ilina Crouse from Creativity Within and Kelli Hull~Stamping with a Dream.

I adore Lindsay Ostrom's images. When I saw her last release I knew that a book was coming...I had so much fun making it I even turned this into a class! This makes for a wonderful gift, perfect for a mantel decoration or the coffee table.
IO stamps used:

The papers are from Carta Bella called Christmas Delivery.

The images were colored with Copics.
And so the story continues...love this car!

All the stamps used for the book can also be purchased in cling. There are three cling sets  that have the images that make up this book.

Here is the front and the back of the book. I have tied twine in between each of the 1/4" folded scores that make up the spine.

The backside of the book has magnets in between each set of pages. There is four pages that are blank leaving room for family pictures or journaling the holiday memories!

Not enough time to make a book?
How about embellishing a jar full of hot cocoa makings!

A gift of warm hugs!
The Mitten Die has been a favorite this season. So easy to make into fun tags. The top of the jar is decorated with snowflake die cuts and stamped with Warm Hugs!

Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays!

TINSEL TREES WITH RAINBOW TAPE!

Here is a fun way to dress up those Christmas tree die cuts using Rainbow Tape!

Today I am showing another way to use your Rainbow Tape. Here I have used the Christmas Tree Cutout Die from Impression Obsession and also I made a tree from three triangles!

For this layer, I have used the 1/32" and the 1/8"  Silver Metallic Rainbow Tape to make the decorative lines.

Using the 1/32" Silver Metallic Rainbow Tape, I have crisscrossed the tape to decorate the trees. I cut this layer with the Nesting Frame 7 die. Next, I embossed the layer with TE Snowfall embossing folder. I added Silver Metallic tape along the bottom of the three triangles. The third tree was popped up in front of these two. I went back over the snowfall embossing and highlighted the dots with glitter.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE

The Impression Obsession Challenge is Quick Christmas Cards.
I, obviously can't read my calendar because I posted the wrong challenge, Lol! So, play along in the Quick Cards Challenge and enjoy my quick gifts! There is always a $25 IO Gift Certificate up for grabs! All the details can be found here on the IO Blog.

A while back I used it for calendars too! Talk about fast and easy...How about a notecard holder and pen set for a quick gift! I found some dp that coordinated with the pad and pencil set and used it for the Business Card Layers. To hold a pen or pencil, use a 1" strip of hw paper. Depending upon the size of writing tool, score the width 4 times, then add a little before cutting to make a tab. Fold on score lines to form an open box. Tape or glue to inside of card holder. For fun I made a tag stamped with Notes on it using matching ink!

Little last minute grab and go treats!
Recently on Splitcoaststampers they shared a tutorial on making these adorable totes.
I have embellished them using IO's Christmas Shaped Tags, Christmas Tree Cutout, and the Holly Leaf Cluster die.

White on white is so beautiful...and so hard to photograph!
For the BG I used Cryogyn paper which has a very subtle shimmer to it. It was embossed with a Snowfall embossing folder. Silver mirror paper was used for the card base.

Serendipity's Snowflake Reverse Die has an array of snowflake designs and sizes. I used a white glitter paper to die cut these. The Season's Greetings Die cut is perfect for this holiday greeting!
