TANGLED TINSEL!

Looks like this kitty has gotten tangled in the tinsel!

Who knew the Silver Metallic Rainbow Tape would be ideal for creating tinsel! I had fun tangling the teeny tiny 1/32" tape around this adorable kitty!

The kitty, holly, ornaments and frame are popped up. The bow was stamped a second time, colored and then fussy cut. To keep the dimension of the bow, silicone was used.

On the inside of the card I repeated the 1/32" Silver Metallic tape for my tinsel.
The top and bottom of the die cut are trimmed with the 1/8" silver tape. Love that shine!

Rainbow Tape comes in several different colors and sizes. To see more designs using their tapes you can visit the DT Blog here.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Karen here with Impression Obsession DT Thursday and sending you a warm holiday greeting!
Today I am sharing with you a card using some of the new holiday dies.

The detail on the Front Door Die is fabulous! I love the added trim around the door frame. I had so much fun designing the holiday wreath using the Wreath Builder Die.This set is perfect for making wreaths for any season!

The card base is an A-2 step card. The side panels were made using a brick embossing folder for texture.
I have so many favorites from the last stamp Fall/Winter release. I can't tell you how many times I have used this stamp from Dina Kowal's collection. Sending love this Christmas...beautiful!
Stardream, Bazzill and glossy paper were used. For the berries I used Glitter Red Stickles. Gold Metallic Rainbow tape finishes off the bottom and inside of card.

Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays!

Theses adorable Mittens were made using the Mitten die. To get the reverse image I used the backside of the die cut! The cut outs were inlaid with different colors of HW Bazzill paper. Silk ribbon was woven through the die cut band at the top and trimmed with some fluffy pom-pons!
Let It Snow was stamped first and then embossed with the snow embossing folder.

IO- THANKSGIVING WISHES

Happy Thursday and happy November!
Would you like the chance to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate just in time for the holidays? Play along in the Thanksgiving Wish challenge! It's easy, just use IO stamps/dies and create! You don't need a blog to play. All the guidelines can be found on the IO Blog.

Thanksgiving Wishes from the IO girls!

The Patchwork Leaves were die cut and then stamped with Mini Patterns 1 and Mini Patterns 2. I love the detailed stitching on the leaves and acorn.
For the stamping I used ink that was a little darker that the color of the card stock. There are three different patterns to a set and there are four different sets. This is a great way to get pattern paper the perfect color for your design!
Give Thanks was die cut out of the natural Neenah. It was die cut again in the brown. This was inlaid back into the negative area on the Neenah.

Inside I have used a quote that is in the Be Grateful cling set.
I trimmed the bottom by stamping the Leafy Border. This is a great stamp to use on the outside of envelopes.

Jingle All The Way!
The Jingle Bell was stamped once in Memento ink. That stamped image was then masked and a new bell was stamped overlaying the first one. I repeated the masking on both bells and stamped a third. They were then colored with Copics. For some texture I brushed on some Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents and used two different fabrics; gold thread and silk.

Inside the card I have stamped Jingle All the Way and the Jingle Bell image.
Papers used are from Photo Play 6x6 Holiday Cheer, Neenah 110 and Desert Storm and a HW Bazzill.
