I couldn't wait to ink up this adorable Halloween image, Kitty and Jack! This is one of the NEW stamps from Serendipity. I've taken the beautiful die cut in black and rubbed Inka Gold in Violet and Green Yellow on it and popped it up with foam tape. Wink of Stella was used on the clouds for a little shimmer. I have mixed textures of the ribbons and twine to trim the card. A few lavender jewels finishes it off!

Don't be a Fraidy Cat! Love the "Y" being a cats tail!

I made a second card using these beautiful Oak Leaf Outline and Acorn Dies
I started on a textured water color paper. Here I used several colors of Distress Inks and water. After drying I rubbed some Inka Gold in Green Yellow and Gold over it. I've splattered a dark ink with a stiff brush to make the spots on the leaves. On the edges there is Chestnut Roan and gold leafing. Two coats of UTEE has been applied. Autumn has been stamped in Rich Cocoa.

The sentiment inside, "All those Golden" has been stamped in Rich Cocoa.

Your next stop on the hop will be the talented

IO THURSDAY-EAT CAKE!

It's my Thursday to play at Impression Obsession! I love making mini card sets and pop up boxes. So, I am sharing with you today these designs made with the Birthday Cake Cling Set .

Here I used the Circle Shaker Frame and popped it up with foam tape. The cake was stamped and fussy cut twice. I used a ball stylus to curve the cake and have added Collall ( silicone ) so it will keep its dimension. The sweet border is made using the Border Duo 1 Die Set. The fun dotted back ground was created using one of the stamps from the Birthday cling set.

Here's the inside!

There are so many fun images and sentiments in the Birthday Cling Set. Here I have made a set of three, 3x3 minis cards. On the front they all have a different cake with coordinating backgrounds. Love the "eat cake" stamp which is sold separately.

The inside of each card has a different sentiment.

Okay, so I had to make a box too!
I fussy cut the birthday stamps. The stars are from the Sun and Moon Die Set

All the images have been glued to acetate strips and attached to dividers inside the box.

This is what the inside looks like when its closed.

The back side of the closed card has room to write your happy birthday message!
The bow on the glass was made with the Small Bow  die.
Thanks for looking and happy Thursday!

IO- NEW DIES-BEACH DAY!

It's a girly day at the beach!

Love the pair of pink Beach Chairs! This so reminds me of a girls beach trip! A nice spot on the beach with your fruity drink cooling you off while under the colorful Beach Umbrella.
These are all NEW DIES from IMPRESSION OBSESSION
I've used the smallest glass die from the Mixed Drink Set. The Small Grass has been tucked around the legs of the chairs. I love the retro bathing suit dp. I repeated the black and pink with the Border Duo 1 Die Set.

For the inside I have used "thinking of you" from the Greeting Die Set which has many words that can be interchanged to work together...love that!
There are several new IO dies that are all awesome and make for a quick and easy card! I have many more cards to share using them!  If you want to get your hands on the dies now you can see all of them here at the IO Store!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

IO - THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP!

FRIENDSHIP!
It's an Impression Obsession Thursday which means time for a new challenge! The theme is "Gift of Friendship". Join in and play along for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to shop at IO. To find out how to play you can go to the Impression Obsession Blog to get all the details.

Take a look and see what all the IO friends have to share!

I am showing a "slider card" today.
I have stamped my background in Antique Linen using the Cover-a-Card Canvas stamp. The words describing a friend is one of the sentiment stamps from the Fabulous Friend set. I've used the NEW Instant Photo Frame and popped it up with foam tape.

The cattails and two different size dragonflies come together in the Cattail Die Set.

I have rubbed a hint of Inka Gold in Violet and Green Yellow on the dragonflies. The cattails and their foliage were rubbed with the gold. Love the subtle shimmer!

When the slider tab is pulled from the back, the frame rises and the word friend shows. The "friend" was actually a part of the stamp above. I used eclipse tape to mask it off so it would not show inside the frame. I then did the reverse masking so I could use the "friend" by itself.
Friends are truly to be cherished!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking!

The DT was to take the stamped image they used for the CAS design last time and use it again for making a "fussy" card! I'm stretching a little here! My theme is still the dandelion, I've just used a different stamp on the front of my card.

On my card I have fussy cut the Dandelion Plant. The leaves on the bottom were stamped and cut again. I have used Collall on the leaves to help keep them curved. The cursive Miss You was die cut and edged with a Memento pen and popped up with foam tape.

Here on the inside I have used the Flower Pops Cling Set and also the Flower Pops Negative Cling Set. The dandelion puff was stamped onto a heavy weight vellum with StazOn and then fussy cut. The flower and leaves have been stamped with Memento and die cut with the Flower Pops Dies. These awesome dies fit both Flower Pops Sets. "Just a Quick Note" was used to let someone know, they are Missed!

IO BEACH FUN-ALL IN A BOX!

Happy Friday!
I have been having so much fun playing with the NEW IO Dies that I just had to share! These dies are all available now online! There is a lot of exciting new things from IO coming up...so get ready! In the meantime, how about a trip to the beach in a box!

There is so much going on inside this small pop-up box card! The Plane that's flying through the Cloud Trio actually comes with a banner that is trailing behind it. I thought about adding, "Eat at Joe's Crab Shack" but I wanted the card when fold to fit into an A2 envelope!

This is the view of the front when the box is closing flat.
For the beach scene the Palm Trees were placed in the back along with some waves created with the Ocean Border Die

You can see the different layers here with the side view. The sand castles have a light cover of sand on them. I have used a waxed rope for the handle on the pail. These dies and the shovel all come in the Mini Beach Fun Set. I also tucked a few Mini Shells in the pail.

The Beach Chair that I used inside the box comes as a set of two. Soon I will be sharing a really fun card I made with those! The Single Beach Chair on the flap comes as shown with the pair of flip flops...loving these!

Here's the back of the box with its flaps down. This shows that darling Mini Shell Set. I used four out of the 7 shells that come in the full set. This sentiment seem to fit perfectly..."Sending Sunny Summer Smiles"!

Folding flat, ready to mail, and I'm dreaming of a beach trip!
All these new dies plus more can be seen and ordered  here!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

CLEAN and SIMPLE!
A new theme starts today with Impression Obsession, "Clean and Simple". This should be easy peasy! Play along with us for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to use at the IO store. All details for entering can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Check out the CAS designs
Karen Amidon...that's me!

Clean and simple is a little foreign to me! I usually have to add everything and then add the kitchen sink too! I must say though... this Alesa Baker Design made it easy to do!

I so adore all of Kittie Caracciolo designs and was inspired by this card here!

Love this Tall Snowy Pine Tree . It's beautiful stamped alone or done in groupings. The pine needles have been brushed over with Copics as well as the tree base. Liquid Applique, (another Kittie Fave!) makes for the dusting of snow on the branches. Don't you love this font that Merry Christmas has been done in?

Can you believe it's already August and I'm thinking warm and cozy! Another wonderful sentiment from Alesa Baker which was in the new IO Fall/Winter release.

Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to your CAS designs!

CLEAN AND SIMPLE!

The DT was given the added challenge to make our projects CAS along with "Missing You".
Yikes! I don't do very much "CAS", Lol! I love the look, it's just hard for me to leave any negative space!
So, here goes.
SS has had such great response to the Flower Pop Stamps that Mary has added to the line! The Negative Cling Set, Dies, and Backgrounds all go with this collection!
This card was made using the Dandelion from the Flower Pop Negatives. With Cantaloupe and Dandelion Memento Ink, I used the "rock n roll" technique. For the centers I added a touch of Viva Gloss Gel in black. Their squares were die cut and popped up with foam tape. The "Miss You" stamp was added to the bottom of the card.

The inside was left CAS! Just a few Dandelions stamped off to the side.
Thanks for looking!

PEAR WITH A FRENCH FLAIR!

For my last card of the hop I have used another Alesa Baker design.
The Print Pear has beautiful script and shading on it. After fussy cutting and coloring the Pear with my Copics I used several layers of UTEE on it.
The French Script stamp was die cut and edged with a Krylon 18kt gold leafing pen. For the background I have used the Canvas Cover-a-Card and stamped with Distress Ink in Linen. I've repeated the gold leaf edging on some of the layers.
I love cards to have texture, layers and a nice weight to them. I've embellished with a strip of muslin, silk, twine, pearls and buttons.

All the new stamps are available NOW!
Thanks for looking and hope that you have enjoyed the hop!
