I'm the caboose of the hop this time, you should have arrived here from

Isn't this stamp a beauty! With mother's day right around the corner this is an easy way to make a her a fabulous card! No coloring, just the wonderful script of, "Happy Mother's Day", a few die cuts, pretty papers and trim!

Love, love, love the Wildflowers and Mason Jar! I stayed with the mother's day theme by adding the "Mom", but oh the possibilities with these stamps has me so excited! I stamped the floral image onto Copic paper. The jars are inked on vellum. The jar image has just enough shading to where I was able to dab glue just in the right spots without it showing! A few flowers were fussy cut and I added some extra leaves at the opening of the jar.

Here are the Copics I used for the Wildflowers.

The sweet watering can is " Flowers and Ferns". I've used another gorgeous stamp saying, "Happy Mother's Day"!

These are the Copics for Flowers and Ferns.

SUMMERTIME LILIES!

I love the new Die-namics Lily from MFT! Lilies are a favorite of mine, (all flowers are my favorite!) and come in an array of so many beautiful color combinations. This reminds me of daylilies that are seen in the summertime.

For the foliage I die cut a few extra of the flower stems and trimmed their tips to a point. Everything was colored with Copics.

The petals of the lily have been curved using a ball stylus and popped up with foam tape.

Here are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for looking!

Karen Amidon...me!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

What a wonderful way to say "love is in the air" by using the Bird with Hearts Stamp and Love You sentiment!
The image was stamped onto the heart shape which was made using the Heart Solid Die. I added a few extra gray hearts that I stamped and fussy cut.

On the inside of my card I have repeated the same fussy cut hearts that were stamped from the Bird with Hearts image. This would make a fun Valentines card...but, I decided to go with a different theme and use the beautiful Happy Anniversary Stamp!

Thanks for looking!

The twist that the DT was given for this challenge was, "pick a stamp or die that represents some element of our life and explain our choice". Yikes!
I have been a floral designer for over 35 years and since flowers have been such a huge part of my life...I'm going with FLOWERS!

Serendipity has so many beautiful floral images it was hard to choose, so I made three cards! The Rose stamp was used on my first card. I spilt the image into four parts, framing each section. Wink of Stella was brushed over the shaded areas which gives it a twinkle. I've embellished the frames with die cuts, lucite flowers, crystals and silk ribbon.

The fourth framed image from the Rose was used on the inside.

The sweet Daisy Basket was colored with Copics using the cool tones of gray.

I stamped the image twice. Fussy cut several of the daisies and popped them up with foam tape. A black Viva Pearl Pen was used to dot the flower centers.

Memories of the 70's!
This card was inspired by a favorite pair of hiphugger bellbottoms with HUGE daisies all over them! I'll spare you the photo!
The flowers were stamped and cut from the Sun Garden image. The "shades of gray" on the daisies were colored with Copics. Dots of Glossy Accents were used to highlight the centers. With my theme being flowers, I used the" Flowers" stamp on the front!

Ahhh! Finally the last picture and the inside of my card! I'm showing more of the image from the fun design of the Sun Garden Stamp. I thought the "Hi there" was the perfect saying in giving you a glimpse into an element of my life!
