The adorable Penguin Pair is colored with Copics. I have chosen to adorn them in a winter "friends" scene but, these little cuties would be great for a holiday card too!

 Their tuxedo is full of sparkles from Spectrum Noir's Clear sparkle pen. The cluster of sequins along the bottom also have a sparkling shimmer added to them!

The lavender Stardream and silver Mirri Sparkle are both from the Paper Cut.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION FALL / WINTER DIE RELEASE CELEBRATION!

We are so excited to share the new Impression Obsession Fall/Winter dies.

 We are shaking things up a little for our new release! 
EACH designer from the IODT will be giving away a $10 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate. To see a list of all the participating designers for today you can go here. You will have until Saturday September 29th at noon to leave your comments. Winners will be  announced on the individual blogs and also on the IO Blog, Monday October 1st.

This guy is so handsome! 

Impression Obsession dies cut beautifully. I love how easily this frame die makes up a card! Its fun to create a new look by using the same layout with differ colors.

The Deer Frame was cut out of copper Stardream paper. I love how simple, yet elegant, the deer is. I ran the die again using a chocolate Mars paper from the Paper Cut. This was pieced back into the negative part of the frame. Greenery die cuts, a snowflake charm, sequins and a buffalo plaid bow embellish him for a holiday look.

This time the Deer Frame was cut using white Stardream paper. The copper bg is from the first card. 

The Jingle Bells are so fun. They pair perfectly with Jingle All the Way die. I've nestled the bells in the curves and lines of the Jingle All the Way die cut.

Today I am sharing 2 Thanksgiving cards.

The darling row of acorns and sentiment are from Lindsay Ostrom.

Inspiration for the fun Copic colors came from the Illustrated Faith papers. 

The acorn caps have a little shine on them from Glossy Accents.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE!

HAPPY THURSDAY & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It's a wonderful and very busy time of the year! We are squeezing in one last challenge before 2018. The theme is Anything Goes so...no excuse for not playing along! Just create using IO products for a chance at winning an Impression Obsession $25 Gift Certificate. You can see at the details on the IO Blog.

Before I forget...

We are sad to be saying goodbye to an incredibly talented DT member, Chris Dayton. Totally understand that family always comes first. We will miss you! 

Happy News...

We welcome a new DT member, Giovana Smith!

This season I seem to be saying the same thing, fast and easy!

Made with IO's JOY FRAME DIE, this shaker card is just that!

The die was cut first in the gold Mirricard. I ran the die a second time using only the ornament and cutting it in red. To add a little interest, I added gold Rainbow Tape along the embossed lines on the ornament. Acetate was adhered to the back side of the frame.

Foam tape was then placed around the edge of the frame.

The BG is a white Stardream paper that has been embossed with a holly and berry embossing folder. A few red sequins and clear beads were added into the popped up frame. Easy shaker card!

I love working with Mirricard paper for cards except when it comes to photographing!

It's very hard to get the true colors and not show any shadows!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION DT THURSDAY

 Design Team Thursday with Impression Obsession.

Today I am sharing with you a cascading card featuring the Merry Penguin and Holiday Home Set. With a few cuts and score marks the base is easy to make. But today, I have used one that is pre-cut and scored from The Paper Cut! Even easier!
To dress the base up I added a bright red paper to frame the knit pattern. The inside layers were embossed with a snowfall design. 

Oh what fun it is!

These cute little guys were stamped with IO Black Hybrid Ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  

I love the igloo being used as their backdrop!

The Merry Penguin Set has several different add ons that you can don them in! 

These clear sets also have matching dies...yippee!

Today I will be sharing two cards.

This bright and cheerful holiday card was made using three ornaments from Lindsay Ostrom. First I stamped and colored the images with Copics. Next I pierced small holes at the top of the ornament and then at the bottom of the letters. To give the idea that the ornaments are hanging, I ran silver metallic thread through the holes. This simple card is finished off with Clear Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents and a few tiny bows that were tied using a baby fork!

This little guy is dressed in his finest for the holidays!

The adorable gingham penguin was stamped with IO Black Hybrid Ink and then heat embossed in clear. The tree shaped shaker card was made using the Christmas Tree Cutout die. Diamond Dust was used inside the shaker.
