RAINBOW TAPE - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

TRICK OR TREAT!

Love those thin lines you can get with  Rainbow Tape!
I have used the 1/32" in black for the tiny edge around the lavender paper.
A single line of tape was also used along the bottom of the white layer to anchor her.

There is a whole lota shaken going on here!
Mr. P. Umpkin and the bats, Bart and Ben were colored with Copics an fussy cut. Trick or Treat was die cut in HW Bazzill. The BG layer die cut that I used to make the shaker is Story Book 2 from PPP.

For more inspiration using Rainbow Tape, check out all of the designs on the Hobby Tape Blog! Like us on FB too!

I added a sprig of holly stamped in Elf Green. The Winter Elements cling set has a great collection of pinecones, greens and acorns. To finish off the card I tied a natural jute bow with pinecone charms.

You can find all the details on the IO BLOG.

Lets see what treats the IODT has for you today!
Here I have used two new die sets.
Love, love, love the Adapt-A Background dies.
The Bead Adapt-A Background used on this card is the same one as I used yesterday!
Totally different look!
Just think of all the great designs you can create with these dies!

I took the Bead Adapt-A Background and cut it in the purple polka dot paper.   If you look closely, you can see where I cut out some of the beaded strips of purple dotted paper and where I left some in.
The beaded strips were also cut in black. The black beaded strips were inlayed into the  negative part where the purple had been. This created a fun background design for the Bat with Sign.

Inside my card I used some of the beaded strips that were cutouts from the original BG. Bats About You was stamped in Versafine.

Thanks for looking, see you tomorrow for Day 3!

Here are your links for today's hop!

I have used four wonderful new dies to make this card.
Staring with the Bead Adapt-a-Background die. By leaving the die cut intact, it creates a subtle texture bg. Tomorrow I have a card showing it used in a different way!
The Patchwork Ornaments were die cut in pattern Christmas paper and the hangers were cut in gold mirror. Love the stitching on these!
The tops of the ornaments were embellished with pine sprigs from the Wreath Builder die set and gold thread bows.
The font on the Joy die is so elegant and cuts beautifully...like butter!

Thanks for looking and see you back tomorrow for Day 2!

RAINBOW TAPE OCT 21

OCTOBER HOPE!

For my card I have used very subtle lines of Rainbow Tape in white for the background.

A Splash of watercolor in pink was put down first. Diagonal lines of Rainbow Tape were next. Using a stencil, Texture paste was smoothed on over the tape. After letting the paste dry, I added more tape.

The Hope and Ribbon die cuts are from Serendipity.

You can go here to see all the colors and sizes of Rainbow Tape!

These playful witches are having too much fun!
The die set is called Six Witches, and each one has its own quirky pose.
I thought the stamp set, If the Broom Fits matched well.

For the inside of my card I used another stamp from the same set.
What do you think this witchy is running from...or to?!

Thanks for looking and hope to see you back on Monday Oct 24th for the 3 day Hop!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION and MISTI HOP

The perfect match!
Impression Obsession is teaming up with My Sweet Petunia for a Hop!
Play along for a chance to win by leaving comments on ALL the blogs.

Impression Obsession will be giving away a $25 IO Gift Certificate and from
My Sweet Petunia it's a Mini MISTI!

The winners will be posted Wednesday October 12th on
Impression Obsession Blog
My Sweet Petunia
and
FB Pages

The Winter Elements cling set from IO was used here. The MISTI has really changed the possibilities in stamping. It is so easy to make multiples, line up designs and sentiments, along with its many other uses. You will never throw anything away again because the image was not stamped complete!

I stamped the two pinecones in brown ink and then masked them.
Here you are seeing, the green pine stamped onto the left side of the pinecones.
On the right side, the pine was stamped onto acetate. By stamping onto acetate or clear film, you are able to see your design before you ever commit to your paper! Once I have decided that I like the placement, the acetate is removed and cleaned off.

Now, my pine image is ready to be stamped directly onto my layer!

Here is the result!

The Small Poinsettia die was used to create the dimensional flower.
A little sparkling of Bo Bunny Sugar Paste and Wink of Stella were added.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the Hop!

Here is a complete list and links for the hop!

Take a look at the IODT!

The shaker card was made using the Circle Shaker Frame die and the Spider Webb background die over acetate. Spidee was stamped, colored with Copics and fussy cut. I added some paper cut legs and silicone for dimension. Eeeeek!

On the inside, I used The Happy Birthday from the More Basic Greetings Set.
