Frosty is shakin' things up!
Who doesn't love a snowman and a shaker card?

LET IT SNOW was stamped onto my layer of Neenah and then colored.
The red scolloped die cut from the ALL-IN-ONE CIRCLES was used to trace a circle.
A circle die cut that was slightly larger than my pencil-mark was used to make the cut.

Make another layer of Neenah the same size. Use the Let it Snow layer as a template and lightly trace the circle.

The SNOWMAN CIRCLE image was stamped in the center.

This layer is now ready for embossing!
Add the red scalloped circle die cut onto the front layer.

On the backside of the embossed layer, tape down a piece of acetate that covers the die cut hole completely.
Next, build a well around the circle with foam tape.
Add your sequins, beads, or whatever you are using as your shakers next.
Your stamped snowman layer is ready to be added. Match up your layers making sure that frosty will be showing right side up!

Your next stop on the hop is the very talented

If you have gotten lost along the way

HOBBY TAPE HOLIDAY IDEAS

PLACE CARDS OR GIFT CARDS!

Today I am sharing a few simple ideas for the Holidays.
RainboTape adds just the right sparkle to these cards!

Weather it's a name card, sentiment or fun design that you have hand made, place cards can help make your holiday table setting special.
Gold and Silver metallic Rainbow Tape makes these designs quick and easy for adding the finishing touch!

Meow, Trick or Treat!
The tiny metallic tape that is 1/32"  in Silver  gives this card a sweet treat with some shiny shadowing behind the words. It was also used for creating the lines along with the White Crepe Tape in 1/16"  .

A Day to Give Thanks!
A guest or family member's name written in gold would be beautiful on this place card. It could also be used for labeling a food dish on a buffet!

I took the 1/4" Gold Metallic tape and placed it on a sheet of paper. A die was used to cut the scalloped edge. A strip of design paper was placed along the straight edge, then topped off with the 1/16" Gold tape.
A mat framing for the cut apart picture was made with the 1/16" Gold Metallic.

A Festive Poinsettia!
Here is another idea for a simple yet elegant name place card or gift card.
The poinsettia was created with the 1/4" Red Metallic tape. Several strips of the tape were added in rows onto a sheet of card stock. Three different sizes of the poinsettia die were cut. Seed beads were added to the center.
Simple lines were made using the Gold Metallic 1/4" tape. A few red sticker dots were also used.

COLOR MY WORLD!

It's a Rainbow Tape day!
I love how Jenny colored the tape with Copics last week, so I thought that I would give it a try. WOW! The tape really picks up the color smoothly and easily!
Be sure to check out the Hobby Tape Blog for great ideas. You can follow them on Facebook too!

I went with a rainbow palette and started coloring some tape with Copics.
I wanted to create something clean and simple.

First I cut out three triangles on a 4 x 5 1/2  sheet of Neenah.

This layer was placed on top of another sheet of paper. I traced around the triangles. The colored strips of tape were placed onto the paper following the angle of the penciled triangle. Black tape was used to fill in the corners of the rainbow.
Here are the sizes that I used

Color My World set from WPlus 9 was stamped on the front and colored with Prismacolors.
Using the 1/32 black tape, I went around the edges of the triangles. Foam tape was used to pop up this layer and then was adhered to the card base.

Two die cuts were added to frame the card.
I used a glaze pen for some shine and enamel dots to finish up the card.

As a card maker, I have found many ways to incorporate Rainbow Tape. I love the fact that it really is a tape that sticks, yet, you can lift and reposition it if needed! Today I have used the Crepe tape in 3 different sizes.
My favorite is the teeny tiny 1/32" Crepe in black!

I stamped the Fishing Line background from Impression Obsession using Versamark.
PanPastels were then rubbed onto the image.

I laid out my design with the Rainbow Tape using a grid mat.

So here it is... the Crepe 1/32" tape in black! Love, love, love!
The lines for the Lures were made using this tape.
It was also used on the tag.

Good luck and thanks for looking!

Why not pink?!
Zig Watercolors were used to add color to the POINSETTIA JAR.
I adore the font with SENDING LOVE. I'm thinking how easy it would be to mask off, "this Christmas" and use just, "Sending Love" for everyday!

While the Zigs were out...I colored the SNOWBIRD IN BRANCH from Tara Caldwell.

Halloween with Lindsay Ostrom is always fun and never scary!
Her crazy bats, BEN and BART are hanging out in the die cut TREE FRAME! These bats were fussy cut and curved with a ball stylus. Silicone was used to help their rounded bodies stay plump!
A little bit of an eerie sky for the BATS ABOUT YOU to be stamped on.

DAY 2 HOP LIST!
Thanks for looking
See you back tomorrow for DAY 3!
