Who doesn't love a snowman and a shaker card?
LET IT SNOW was stamped onto my layer of Neenah and then colored.
The red scolloped die cut from the ALL-IN-ONE CIRCLES was used to trace a circle.
A circle die cut that was slightly larger than my pencil-mark was used to make the cut.
Make another layer of Neenah the same size. Use the Let it Snow layer as a template and lightly trace the circle.
The SNOWMAN CIRCLE image was stamped in the center.
This layer is now ready for embossing!
Add the red scalloped circle die cut onto the front layer.

Add the red scalloped circle die cut onto the front layer.
On the backside of the embossed layer, tape down a piece of acetate that covers the die cut hole completely.
Next, build a well around the circle with foam tape.
Add your sequins, beads, or whatever you are using as your shakers next.
Your stamped snowman layer is ready to be added. Match up your layers making sure that frosty will be showing right side up!

Love the snowman and that it is a shaker. Cute!
ReplyDeleteI love making shaker cards. They are so much fun, as is yours. The snowman puts a smile on my face. When I make my shaker cards, I use a circle of fun foam instead of building "a well around the circle with foam tape." It works better for me. Give it a try, it might save time when you make a multitude of shaker cards.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shaker card
