It's getting close to graduation time and I love having cards pre made for the occasion. I thought the stamp, Smallest Step, would work great for a college grad!
The background was designed using the Gelli Plate and lots of colors. I used the Ocean Border die for the curves along the edge.

Dina's silhouette stamp, Runningwas colored with Distress Markers for the inside of my card. "Congratulations", says it all to the new grad!

Karen Amidon...that's me!

Clipping the die cuts are and easy way to create monograms. I have chosen the Hello and Baby die. I love the font of the H and B. The card has been embellished with stamped flower blossoms that looked like the dp! The orange and yellow flower are from the Summer Flower Pop Cling Set. The pink flower is the center of the daffodil from the new Spring Flower Pops. The Flower Corner and the Flowers and Ferns stamp were used for the greenery.

For the inside I have used the the full stamped image of the Flower Corner.

The stamp of the month is the Jar Label...it's 50% OFF until the end of the month.

The Bloom die is so playful. I love the little flowers that make the o's and the leaf tips on the letters. The die was run though on the floral paper. I  ran the die again with black and then white paper. The letters were then inlayed back into the negative space.

The flowers were stamped and fussy cut. I used the matching Flower Pops Die Set to make the white borders around the flowers.
Buy the stamp and die set together here and save!

The background was created by using Tim Holt tissue paper, distress inks, paints and Gesso. Perfect for the NEW Create die!

ART IMPRESSIONS CHALLENGE #156

This is the second week for AI "Spring Colors" challenge. I love playing along in their challenges and this one using bright and vibrant colors is perfect for sharing the Elephant Set that I've have inked up and colored!

Isn't she a beauty and oh so color coordinated! Her dress was paper pieced and I have dotted the center of each flower with Viva Gloss Gel. Love that bumpy texture! Lotsa popped up layers and embellies on this gal! The inside reads, "it's okay...i'd be jealous too".

I have made a set of three cards, matching envies and a desk top box holder.
Ladies, Laughs and Layers!

Edna and I go way back...I just adore her and have used her many times! Can't you taste the chocolate bonbons and feel any stress just evaporate along with those bubbles? Lol! On the inside she reads, "At our age we can be anything we choose to be...we choose fabulous!"

Huge fan of wobbles so needless to say, yay for the "Shake your Booty" line of stamps! The Dancer Set was used here for my third card. I bet you can guess what the inside does, yep, she shakes her...skirt! So fun!

Doesn't this make a great gift!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION~YOU DID IT!

Impression Obsession's challenge is, "You did it"!
Play along by sharing your design using IO stamps or dies. you can find all the guidelines on the IO Blog.

Here is the IODT to help inspire you!
I decided to go with a graduation theme for, "You did it"!
Where I live we have two main college colors...
Red and Black ~ Old Gold and White

You won't see any Yellow Jackets flying around here but, you might hear the sound of a Bulldog barking!
College graduation is such a wonderful, exciting time! I have chosen to use Dina Kowals, "Live As Though Life Was Created For You"! This is from her Maya Cling Collection that has been so popular.
Three other words of praise from the More Basic Greetings set were stamped and die cut with the Mini Rectangle Tags. I've used Silly String to attach these tags onto the Tied Line Die.
Thanks for looking, go dawgs!

SSCB #42 MONOGRAMS AND VERSE

It's April's fools day but, I promise that we are not fooling when we say that we want you to join in and play along in the Serendipity Stamps April challenge! For the whole month of April we are creating designs with "Monograms and Verses". Get creative...snip letters off a die or use letters from a verse. We can't wait to see what you will come up with!
For more information on playing you can go to the SSCB.

Mary has decided to have a "stamp of the month". Each month there will be a different stamp that she will be offering at 50% OFF! This month Mary has chosen a great stamp that fits nicely with spring and gardening! Can you guess which one it might be? It's the Jar Label, which can be seen here!

Need some inspiration...here's what the dt has made!
Karen Amidon...that's me!

The flowers that i've colored are from the April NEW stamp and die release! I love designing with the Spring Flower Pops Cling Set, it's great having the matching dies too! The verse that I have added is,"All Shall Be Well".  My monogramed letter is "S" and was cut off of the Sweet Die.

Here's another way to use a letter from a stamp. I have masked the letters around the "K" for a monogram. This letter came from "Be Kind", as you can see here!
