Here's the links to see how the DT used their scraps!

Karen Amidon...that's me!

Everyone has leftovers! This is such a great way to use up those scraps!  The sweet Snowman with Birds stamp was colored with Copics. A little dusting of iridescent glitter was added to his body. The scarf is adorned with tassels made from embroidery thread.

The "Joy is Everywhere" sentiment has such a beautiful script. It also would be fabulous to use on the front of a card.
Finished size is A-2

Basket Weaving with Scraps!

On my second card the technique I used with my scraps was basket weaving. Basically each strip is woven over and under...just like making those pot holders!

Foam tape was used on all the strips that ran horizontally (weft) to give it a nice contour. The Wheat Sheaf image was stamped with Rich Cocoa and left natural.

Inside the "November" month stamp was used from the beautiful Illustrated Months Cling Set. The individual months can also be purchased separately.
The bottom woven edge was a left over cut from the front!
Finished size is 5 1/4 x 5

Looking forward to seeing your designs with paper scraps!
