GHOULS AND GHOST!

Today I am sharing another Halloween card. The sentiment is the Ghoulies and Ghosties stamp designed by Kalani Allred.
I have edged the border with chalk and framed it with a purple paper. The black scroll design is a self adhesive ribbon!
The Mesh Texture background stamp from Alesa Baker is also new, love it! On this I used VersaMark and fine white detail ep, then heat embossed. A cute dp with ghosties, lots of popped layers and sheer purple ribbon complete my card. Super easy!

All stamps from the hop are available NOW!

Thanks for looking today and good luck!

CAT IN THE HAT!

I love making Halloween cards and this Gary Robertson , "Cat in the Hat Jack", image was definitely calling me! His drawings have such fabulous detail and I love his shading! This stamp is available in the IO Store Now!

I have stamped the image twice, fussy cut the pumpkin and cat for added dimension and colored with Copics. A few of the leaves that surround the base of the pumpkin are also fussy cut and raised.

The "cat claws" and border were from the inside strip of the Border Duo 1 Die Set.

These are the Copics that I used.

The more blogs you visit each day and leave a comment...the better chance you will have to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!

Ai CHALLENGE 140 "BIG BIRTHDAYS"

Love, love, love the NEW Deep Breath Birthday Stamp Set! Ai has released 2 new Zoo Crew sets today, yeah! The Ai challenge just happens to be Big Birthdays and what better way to say happy birthday than with a BIG fish!

BIG WISH WITH A BLOW FISH!

This guy is too cute!

He really came to life by fussy cutting those cheeks and giving dimension to them! A ball stylus was used along with Collall. Clear Wink of Stella was added to the candles, eyes and bubbles and then Viva Gloss Gel over top. "It's your Birthday...Deep Breath" comes with this fabulous image.

Okay, I really love this guy! I made the same card only this time the cake was colored yellow! I didn't puff out his cheeks and he is still fabulous! I can tell that the rubber is going to be burning on this one and he will to be used for a lot of upcoming birthdays!

The inside was left blank to be able to personalize the card. No stamps, just die cuts!

To enter the Ai challenge you have until July 30th at 5 PM PST. Be sure to check out the other designs with celebrating Big Birthdays!

"Wooden Ships on the Water"...Dating myself with a little Crosby Stills Nash~Lyrics! Ahhhh, the beauty of a ship and look at all the wonderful details this Ship image has by Gary Robertson. I stayed true to his drawing and colored only the image with Copics.

The card base is made with the heavy weight Neenah ivory paper. I've added 2 strips of the colored dp paper on it.

For my layers behind the image I matted the navy paper with the ivory Neenah that I have edged with a Krylon 18kt gold leafing pen. The red was torn and edged with E41 and 42. The blue and ivory ticking was made from the Cover-a-Card Ticking background stamp. I used the awesome Mega Mount curved acrylic block for stamping the image. I've embellished the card with a strip of muslin, jute rope and metal brads.

Welcome to the second half of the Serendipity challenge where the theme all month is "twine". Play along by using a Serendipity stamp or die and add some twine. One entry will be chosen randomly and will win a sampler of Twinery Twine. New to playing with us? You can find all the details here on SSCB.

Get inspired using twine from the DT

For the first half of our challenge the DT was to use "hot" as their theme along with twine, now we are cooling things down! Anything "cool" is our focus and I'm thinking what's cooler than playing in the sprinkler on a hot summer day! Isn't this image dear?

The sweet Sprinkler image has been colored with Copics.  A light brushing of Wink of Stella was added to the water spray. I've also added Gloss Gel to the splashes.

The lines were followed from the Exquisite Circle die cuts with twine to create the rays. I've also glued some twine around the circle die cut to frame the image and finished it off with a shoestring bow. "Summer" is from the season set, Spring~ Summer~ Autumn~ Winter.

Here are the Copics used!

I adore this sweet image of the Beachcomber. It's been inked up and colored with Copics. Sending Sunny Summer Smiles was stamped inside the popped up Square Shaker Frame Die cut.  A natural mesh, twine, and silk have been added for texture. The fun sand bucket dp was the perfect pairing with its wonderful summer colors!

I have had more fun with the Shell Die Set and the Pail! The shells were lightly shaded with Copics and embossed with clear ep. The Pail is perfect for collecting those treasures along the beach or arranging flowers in! Pale green paper was used for the Grass Die. What's a beach without some sand? I've sprinkled a little dusting of sand to complete the grouping!

Thanks for looking and I hope that you will join in and play along by sharing your fun colors of summer!

Look at the incredible detail of this image! I've used copper embossing powder on the  Sea Horse. The small "Thank You" is also embossed.
