"Wooden Ships on the Water"...Dating myself with a little Crosby Stills Nash~Lyrics! Ahhhh, the beauty of a ship and look at all the wonderful details this Ship image has by Gary Robertson. I stayed true to his drawing and colored only the image with Copics.
The card base is made with the heavy weight Neenah ivory paper. I've added 2 strips of the colored dp paper on it.
For my layers behind the image I matted the navy paper with the ivory Neenah that I have edged with a Krylon 18kt gold leafing pen. The red was torn and edged with E41 and 42. The blue and ivory ticking was made from the Cover-a-Card Ticking background stamp. I used the awesome Mega Mount curved acrylic block for stamping the image. I've embellished the card with a strip of muslin, jute rope and metal brads.
Thanks for looking!
