Karen Amidon...me!

The holidays are here and I love making Christmas cards! Don't you love this image of the Bayleaf Wreath from Serendipity Stamps?

The center of the wreath has been fussy cut. The beautiful "Let Heaven and Nature Sing" Serendipity stamp was used on the oval die cut. I inked up a small part of the wreath again and cut a portion of the leaves out. The cut leaves were put on top of the original stamped image giving the appearance of the oval being tucked into the wreath. The leaves were lifted and held in place with Collall dimensional glue. Each of the layers have been popped up with foam tape.

Using Eclipse tape, I covered part of the "Peace on Earth" stamp leaving only the word "Peace"!
I took a small cutting of the bay leaves again and embellished them with a bow.

One More Shaped Card!

I've used the Bird Die from Serendipity on my second card. This bird is so graceful and cuts beautifully.

Cryogen paper was used for this card. It has a slight shimmer to it. All the color has come from sponging with Distress Ink. I made three die cuts of the bird and left the wings partially open.
I thought the elegant Peace Stamp paired nicely with the bird. A simple ribbon, some pearls and bow finishes it.

Inside, I've embossed the same beautiful script of "Let Heaven and Nature Sing".

Looking forward to seeing your shapes!

Thanks for looking!
