HAPPY FALL YA'LL!

Isn't this Scarecrow Boy stamp just the cutest?! This little guy has so much detail. Can you believe that there is no pattern paper used except for the diamond print background! That's right, it's all stamped on solid colored paper and paper pieced! Just like paper dolls!

The Scarecrow Boy was stamped onto white paper for the base. I colored the sun, pumpkins, leaves, and straw with my Copics. Each item of his clothing was then stamped onto the colored cardstock and fussy cut. Using a ball styIus I rounded his belly, knees, gloves, and hat to give him some dimension. His face was stamped onto canvas and a Copic marker was used to rosy up his cheeks. I took a fine tip pen and went over the features on his face.

I used raffia and let it hang out of his clothing to give the appearance that he was stuffed with straw. Black twine was added to tie up his shirt and pant legs. The buttons are made from a small hole punch. His broomstick is a toothpick! Burlap, ribbon and buttons, "oh my", were used to finish the card!

Die cut swatches that were faux stitched adorn the inside edges. The Festive Fall Stamp is a favorite and was used for my sentiment on the inside of my card.

Finished card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4

Looking forward to seeing all your great ideas.
Happy Cutting and thanks for playing along!
