IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE~ MASCULINE


Happy Thursday! Impression Obsession's new challenge is an easy one, MASCULINE! Create a design using IO stamps or dies on your project, link up to play along. As always, an IO $25 gift certificate is up for grabs. New to our challenges? You can find all the guidelines here on the IO Blog.

The faux wood frame was made using the wood plank stamp from the Grunge Building Borders. Kid Kurtis was colored with Copics and then fussy cut. I added the Sm Grass die cuts to help anchor him. Here Fishy Fishy was stamped a few times onto the bg paper. 


 I also stamped the fish on a scrap pieced of Neenah and fussy cut them. A ball stylus was used to curve the fish and silicone was applied to help keep their dimension.
The sign comes blank by itself and you can add 1 of 4 sayings to it!
 I couldn't agree more with this sign, "Everything's better at the Lake"

Fanciful, yes! Okay, I might be really stretching it on the florals, but there is a little bloom on top of the Cactus Flower. Lol!
This arrangement was made using the NEW Cacti images, Rabbits Hair, Barrelhead and Cactus Flower.
I paired them up with the prickly, Ouch!


Feel Better seemed to fit for the inside of the card!

IMPRESSION OBSESSION~SUMMER RELEASE BLOG HOP~DAY 2

Lindsay Ostrom has a great line of summer stamps. I love her playful style! This little mermaid is named SPLASH. She is one of three from her collection.
For my shaker, I stamped the JELLYFISH twice and fussy cut SPLASH. The bubbles from the embossing folder were highlighted with Glossy Accents.
I made a set of 4 small cards that coordinate with the mermaid.


 CARLTON CLAM is one of my favorites, those eyes and bubbles make me giggle!
He has been stamped 3 times. A mask was used to cover the front images.

How cute is CARLOTTA?

The image that I used just happens to be the stamp of the month! For the month of May it will be 50% OFF, Yippee!
Our weather here in the south has been reminding us that summer is just around the corner. There is nothing better than a pitcher of lemonade, liquid sunshine! This is a easy color with Copics. The lemons were stamped twice and fussy cut. I have added Collall, silicone, to give the cut lemons dimension. I have paired the Relax die cut with my image.


The inside of my card says it nicely...Rest Relax!
