Get inspired with the teams backgrounds!

I am sharing with you today a new Cover-a-Card background stamp and sentiment from the Fall/Winter release. The Blossoming Branches Cover-a-Card is gorgeous! This is a great way to make a fast and easy card. I love using my Mega Mount also! The blossoms and leaves have been lightly colored with Copics. Wink of Stella in clear has been used on the butterflies for a touch of sparkle. I have used the Sing Anyway stamp which also comes in the Good Day-Clear Set. The Fancy Butterfly Die paired up perfectly with this background stamp.

I hope you are singing today!
Thanks for looking

There is always a twist for the DT! Along with the Summers Last Hurrah we are to add paper piecing! If you like, play along with us and add that too!

How cute are these Tennis Shoes? I have this fun dp called, "Summer Lovin" that worked great for paper piecing. Here the Tennis Shoes have been stamped three times. First I stamped them onto white Neenah paper. I then stamped onto the pattern dp just the pair of shoes I wanted, masking off the other two. I repeated this step only this time I stamped the shoes onto the solid color papers.

After paper piecing them together I used a small hole punch to make the eyelets. I've laced up the shoes and tied the bows with a thin silk ribbon. With the left over short ribbons I used Copics to color them to match the papers. I've randomly tied the ribbons together and used them for a border across the bottom.

Here's the inside of my card.
Summertime ends, memories made, and we remember our Friends Forever!

I am also entering my card in Virginia's View Challenge #7

Thanks for looking and hope you are enjoying the last hurrah of the summer!

I couldn't wait to ink up this adorable Halloween image, Kitty and Jack! This is one of the NEW stamps from Serendipity. I've taken the beautiful die cut in black and rubbed Inka Gold in Violet and Green Yellow on it and popped it up with foam tape. Wink of Stella was used on the clouds for a little shimmer. I have mixed textures of the ribbons and twine to trim the card. A few lavender jewels finishes it off!

Don't be a Fraidy Cat! Love the "Y" being a cats tail!

I made a second card using these beautiful Oak Leaf Outline and Acorn Dies
I started on a textured water color paper. Here I used several colors of Distress Inks and water. After drying I rubbed some Inka Gold in Green Yellow and Gold over it. I've splattered a dark ink with a stiff brush to make the spots on the leaves. On the edges there is Chestnut Roan and gold leafing. Two coats of UTEE has been applied. Autumn has been stamped in Rich Cocoa.

The sentiment inside, "All those Golden" has been stamped in Rich Cocoa.

Your next stop on the hop will be the talented

IO THURSDAY-EAT CAKE!

It's my Thursday to play at Impression Obsession! I love making mini card sets and pop up boxes. So, I am sharing with you today these designs made with the Birthday Cake Cling Set .

Here I used the Circle Shaker Frame and popped it up with foam tape. The cake was stamped and fussy cut twice. I used a ball stylus to curve the cake and have added Collall ( silicone ) so it will keep its dimension. The sweet border is made using the Border Duo 1 Die Set. The fun dotted back ground was created using one of the stamps from the Birthday cling set.

Here's the inside!

There are so many fun images and sentiments in the Birthday Cling Set. Here I have made a set of three, 3x3 minis cards. On the front they all have a different cake with coordinating backgrounds. Love the "eat cake" stamp which is sold separately.

The inside of each card has a different sentiment.

Okay, so I had to make a box too!
I fussy cut the birthday stamps. The stars are from the Sun and Moon Die Set

All the images have been glued to acetate strips and attached to dividers inside the box.

This is what the inside looks like when its closed.

The back side of the closed card has room to write your happy birthday message!
The bow on the glass was made with the Small Bow  die.
Thanks for looking and happy Thursday!

IO- NEW DIES-BEACH DAY!

It's a girly day at the beach!

Love the pair of pink Beach Chairs! This so reminds me of a girls beach trip! A nice spot on the beach with your fruity drink cooling you off while under the colorful Beach Umbrella.
These are all NEW DIES from IMPRESSION OBSESSION
I've used the smallest glass die from the Mixed Drink Set. The Small Grass has been tucked around the legs of the chairs. I love the retro bathing suit dp. I repeated the black and pink with the Border Duo 1 Die Set.

For the inside I have used "thinking of you" from the Greeting Die Set which has many words that can be interchanged to work together...love that!
There are several new IO dies that are all awesome and make for a quick and easy card! I have many more cards to share using them!  If you want to get your hands on the dies now you can see all of them here at the IO Store!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

IO - THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP!

FRIENDSHIP!
It's an Impression Obsession Thursday which means time for a new challenge! The theme is "Gift of Friendship". Join in and play along for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to shop at IO. To find out how to play you can go to the Impression Obsession Blog to get all the details.

Take a look and see what all the IO friends have to share!

I am showing a "slider card" today.
I have stamped my background in Antique Linen using the Cover-a-Card Canvas stamp. The words describing a friend is one of the sentiment stamps from the Fabulous Friend set. I've used the NEW Instant Photo Frame and popped it up with foam tape.

The cattails and two different size dragonflies come together in the Cattail Die Set.

I have rubbed a hint of Inka Gold in Violet and Green Yellow on the dragonflies. The cattails and their foliage were rubbed with the gold. Love the subtle shimmer!

When the slider tab is pulled from the back, the frame rises and the word friend shows. The "friend" was actually a part of the stamp above. I used eclipse tape to mask it off so it would not show inside the frame. I then did the reverse masking so I could use the "friend" by itself.
Friends are truly to be cherished!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking!

The DT was to take the stamped image they used for the CAS design last time and use it again for making a "fussy" card! I'm stretching a little here! My theme is still the dandelion, I've just used a different stamp on the front of my card.

On my card I have fussy cut the Dandelion Plant. The leaves on the bottom were stamped and cut again. I have used Collall on the leaves to help keep them curved. The cursive Miss You was die cut and edged with a Memento pen and popped up with foam tape.

Here on the inside I have used the Flower Pops Cling Set and also the Flower Pops Negative Cling Set. The dandelion puff was stamped onto a heavy weight vellum with StazOn and then fussy cut. The flower and leaves have been stamped with Memento and die cut with the Flower Pops Dies. These awesome dies fit both Flower Pops Sets. "Just a Quick Note" was used to let someone know, they are Missed!
